The Challenge
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, liquor sales were temporarily stopped in Kerala by the state government, affecting over 44 million citizens. To resume sales safely, the government organized a competition for software companies to present digital solutions that could ensure social distancing in liquor shops and hotels.
Our Solution
Faircode was proudly selected from over 50 competing teams to build BevQ — a digital queue and token management system enabling citizens to pre-book time slots for liquor purchases, ensuring social distancing and controlled footfall at beverage outlets across Kerala.
